Opino has a zero-tolerancepolicy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out the standards we uphold to keep children safe, in line with Google Play's child safety standards policy and applicable law. It applies to everyone who uses Opino on the web or in our mobile app.
Opino is an adults-only platform
Opino is intended for users 18 years of age or older, as stated in our Terms. The service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we remove it.
What is strictly prohibited
The following are forbidden on Opino and will be removed and reported:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any image, video, text, or link that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to sexualise a child.
- Promoting, trading, requesting, or linking to CSAE content anywhere on or off the platform.
- Any other content or behaviour that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors.
How we prevent and act on CSAE
- In-app reporting.Every post and comment can be reported in one tap, with a dedicated "Sexual or explicit content" reason, on both web and the Android app. Users can also block other users.
- Human review. Reports are reviewed by our team. Content that violates this policy is removed promptly and the responsible account is terminated.
- Preservation & reporting. When we identify apparent CSAM, we remove it, preserve the relevant records as required by law, and report it to the appropriate authorities (see below).
- Account termination. We permanently ban accounts involved in CSAE and take reasonable steps to prevent re-registration.
How to report a child-safety concern
If you encounter content or behaviour that may endanger a child on Opino, please report it immediately:
- In the app or on the web: use the Reportaction on the post or comment and choose "Sexual or explicit content".
- By email: support@theusecase.in — our designated point of contact for child-safety matters. We aim to acknowledge reports promptly and act without delay.
Reporting to authorities & legal compliance
We cooperate with law enforcement and comply with child-safety laws in the regions we operate. In particular:
- We report apparent CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the NCMEC CyberTipline and, in India, the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
- We comply with India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first. In India you can also reach the childline helpline at 1098.
